  1. Add install and uninstall options of components in the lvemanager

Will be great if in the same way you have a on/off button to show or hide different components versions like python, php, ruby and nodejs in the clients panels. Have a install/uninstall button to install and uninstall different versions of different components. Instead to go through command like "yum remove alt-php54*" or "yum groupinstall alt-nodejs14"

  4. Improve MySQL Governor's MySQL version installation/verification

Currently there doesn't seem to be an easy way to detect if the MySQL version currently installed is the one provided by MySQL Governor and if it's the one that has been chosen when using "db-select-mysql --mysql-version=mariadb55".

Would it be possible to add an option to either mysqlgovernor.py or db-select-mysql that would allow a server admin to check what's the current state of MySQL installation on the server in the context of MySQL Governor?

For instance, cPanel provides something similar for various services it manages:

    /scripts/setupmailserver --current

    Current mailserver type: dovecot
    Current storage format: maildir

    /scripts/setupftpserver --current

    Current FTP server…

Make it possible to modify IOPS (yes, IOPS, not IO) limits for packages using plugin for cPanel and DirectAdmin.

  6. Ability to enable/disable Litespeed (lsapi) from PHP Selector

Assuming that litespeed is installed, and this is permitted by admin / ACL / configuration options:

It would be nice if the customer himself could enable / disable litespeed and switch from suPHP to litespeed from inside PHP Selector.

A work load would be reduced (tickets informing to switch to litespeed for testing, or switch it back etc) and it should be better as a service.

  7. Provide WHM plugins to manage CL products' commands and updates

It would be really nice to have a WHM plugin/s to manage the CL products with one-click upgrades when appropriate. Something similar to Configserver's management plugins would be really helpful to launch commands and updates.

  9. Add brotli_module support to EA4

There is a new compression filter from Google which is slightly better than gzip on both resources and compression.
Google has developed a module for nginx already, however apache only has a module in trunk (2.5).
There is a github project for brotli_module which seems promising. Could you add it to EA4 experimental?

  12. process manager for user to kill and monitor top process

user can manage and kill process in his account and see his cpu / disk / ram usage for each top processes
kill process should work for mysql and php webserver processes. because when a user in cloud linux overload he cannot manage his process and should ask us to reset the limits

  13. KernelCare and cPanel

The existing logs for KernelCare are apparently merged into system messages but they should be separated and viewable (especially from the cPanel WHM Plugin for Imunify360 KernelCare tab) so that customers can see activity.

Right now, I cannot easily see that KernelCare has done ANYTHING! There is no simple method to view logs and there is NO methods to setup notifications, either! When I look at all the tabs for Imunify360, there are tons of different activities shown. Why can't KernelCare at least show what it has done to maintain the system?

  14. Better customize mail notification

We should be allowed to set mail notification in much more granularity.

I want to receive notifications on EP and PMEM only as these are the elements that BREAK the user experience and I might need to address it immediately. While the SPEED elements is just slowing down users.

The naming convention is not normalized in the interface. Hence very confusing and sometimes contradictory!

They don't correspond between the account setup and the graphs, or the tables.

  16. Add "lvestats" to WHM Service Manager

    Hello,

For some reason, the lvestats sometimes stops running on our CloudLinux servers. It doesn't happen too often, but it does happen.

So it would be nice if you could add "lvestats" to the WHM Service Manager system, so that it can be monitored and automatically restarted if needed.

    1. Login to WHM.
    2. Click into the "Service Configuration-->Service Manager" page.
    3. Now at the bottom you should see a section for "Additional services".
    4. Please add "lvestats" to this section, so that it can be monitored and auto-restarted.

If you aren't sure how to do this, please let me know and I can…

  18. Hide LVE Setting Interface on Reseller Privileges

Currently, LVE Setting is available in Reseller Interface on Account creation. I doubt they will use default setting. If the understand about LVE, I think they will customize the setting. I think, to prevent Abuse user from getting high resouce (especially CPU and RAM), reseller account could not change LVE setting that has been set by ROOT account.

The doc explains how to list a limits, but yes per UIDs but not usernames. Currently there is no way to list by usernames,

i suggest if we can list theme by username, as we can use the API with the same cpanel user .

  20. Restrict LSPHP to certain paths

We handle a couple of sites every week where the user had an old installation of Wordpress, hidden on a subdomain on a separate folder. Which leads to the whole account being removed/hacked etc. This is quite bothersome as well because there is a lot of sensitive stuff in the users homedir, just as an example, the /ssl folder or /mail.

We had an idea, where maybe we could through .htaccess/.user.ini control which folders lsphp could access, to go even further, maybe even split read/write, in good cases the users actually know what they are doing and they update the…
