Store email on a separate partition
It's a duplicate for already existing cPanel feature request:
https://features.cpanel.net/topic/store-email-on-a-different-partition
but as cPanel development for such option is still not planned.
Maybe it could be done in easier way for cPanel servers using CageFS options so such solution could be transparent to cPanel.
It’s very helpful idea to lower I/O overhead from mail storage, and provide faster adoption for SSD in /home partition for websites.7 votes -
Add an indication in cPanel's MultiPHP INI Editor that values set there will be overridden by the CL PHP Selector
When PHP Selector is active, the settings applied in the PHP Selector interface override any settings set in MultiPHP INI Editor.
Because CloudLinux PHP Selector does not allow for per domain configurations, this disables the ability to configure PHP options per domain. We can see this in the documentation here:
If PHP Selector is active, then options set in PHP Selector are applied, and such options have higher priority than options in custom php.ini file in domain docroot. If PHP Selector is disabled, then options set in MultiPHP INI Editor are applied.
https://docs.cloudlinux.com/index.html?php_selector_cpanel.html
This can be very frustrating for users…

Please add xVarnish/Cachewall as a supported product :)
Varnish is the backbone of serving up fast WP or Joomla websites and there was a HUGE amount of buzz around xVarnish/Cachewall because they create a fantastic WHM/cPanel plugins and the Varnish core/configuration. It seems as though the team behind the 'opensource' xVarnish have abandoned the project. Support is no longer offered, updates have stopped, etc.
Since xVarnish/Cachewall is opensource, I think it would make for a fantastic addition to CL's software landscape. Either make it a separate installable product or optional purchased license.
Your support team just tried to install xVarnish for us and had issues so, we're going…

Node.js Selector support for DirectAdmin+nginx
Hi,
I request that it should be looked into to add support for Node.js Selector to work with nginx on DirectAdmin.
Since DirectAdmin natively supports nginx compared to cPanel, it would be a good option to add support for Node.js selector to work with nginx on DirectAdmin.
Since Phusion passenger already has nginx modules just like mod_passenger for Apache, adding support should be easy.
This might solve some of the WebSockets problems which just simply don't work with Apache, but nginx it might work much better.
Thank you.

Allow OSSEC customization
It would be nice to have the ability to customize the OSSEC configuration in Imunify360.
At the moment, customizations in "/var/ossec/etc/ossec.conf", e.g. to enable email notifications and add LFD-like functionality, are getting lost upon the package update.
"ossec.conf" doesn't support includes, so it is not possible to define customization in the separate file.7 votes -
Add an option to disable Python and Node.js selector selectively
As not all our packages include Python and Node.js, it would be great to be able to enable/disable them on a per-user or per-package basis.

Imunify360 Firewall - Close all ports, except specified - missing IPv4 and IPv6 field for each port
Recently came a cross the option in Imunify360 Firewall "Close all ports, except specified".
But, I see we cannot define per port to allow our local IPv4 & IPv6.
For example, MySQL 3306 needs only local IP and not external access.
Why openning it for all? Moreover, like Redis 6379 or Memcached 11211, why open it to external ...
Would be really nice if we could add our local IP, IPv4 and IPv6 per port when "close all ports, except specified".
There is also a difference between stateful vs. stateless firewall too.

Add tmux to the default yum repos
tmux is a terminal multiplexer a la screen, however contains quite a few features that the screen package does not support natively (such as vertical splits).
tmux is additionally in the default package lists for apt, so there is precedent for including it (why yum doesn't by default is a constant pain point for me).
More information about tmux is at http://tmux.sourceforge.net/

have user cron jobs run with lower limits by default
We've had some problems with users running demanding cron jobs, causing short burst of maxed out limits at intervals.
It could be useful to have user crons always run with lower limits, as most cron jobs are background tasks and don't need realtime peak performance. This would even out the resource usage, resulting in more even overall server performance.
This could be implemented in the following way:
crons always run at a set percentage of the LVE CPU and IO limits (for example 25%), unless configured otherwise.6 votes -

LVE statistics UI improvements
I'd like to suggest some UI improvements to the Cpanel LVE Manager:
better separation of columns on table, maybe highlighting the "Faults" column with a different background color, as it's what most people look for.
highlight faults in red when > 0.
sort from big -> small first when clicking on column label, then change to small -> big when clicking it a second time. As it is right now, when I want to change column that sorts the table, I click on the desired column label and the smaller values appear first (usually 0's), so I have to click…

Allow set reseller limits from reseller package
Instead of set reseller limits with a reseller name, 'lvectl set-reseller "reseller_name"'. We would like to set and manage reseller limits with a package as we have already done for end user accounts in LVE manager.

Integration with Invision Community
As i was reading before, i know Imunify 360 kind of integrates with Wordpress as a protection.
Will we even get the integration with: https://invisioncommunity.com/ ?
I have my own hosting company and 20 sites uses this fantastic software including me and at the first installation of the imunify 360 i had to disable some rules mod security from your software, because it was blocking users when they tried just to create a topic in our forum.I would really appreciate it ;)
