LVE Dashboard Endusers Reaching Limits | please separate Domains(Panel) user vs System Users
Hello, My suggestion is to seperate Domain ( panel Endusers) from system Endusers.
example: when you go to your LVE Dashboard you see Endusers Reaching Limits 4/21
this number on the left is a symbol that 4 endusers are reaching limits and the 21 is total domain(panel) users and system users.
this was very confusing at first, cause I had only 10 domains and the day prior was showing 0/15 so I thought why 15?I only have 10 domains and 5 subdomains so I thought ok it makes sense 15
Then the next day I see 2/21 and think…

Add dotnet/asp.net core selector - with proxy support
Add a selector like the NodeJs/Python selector to run self-contained dotnet/asp.net core executables with proxy support so they can be run with HTTPS.

Option to add domain with SSL certificate and key through Imunify360 interface for standalone installation/non-panel/ISPConfig
Recently come across an issue where I installed Imunify360 on a server with ISPConfig - followed instructions for non-panel/standalone installation.
Therefore, after successfull installation, all domains which worked well using Cloudflare CA Origin Certificate, Authenticated Origin Pulls and were on Full (Strict) SSL option, went "offline" or "error 526 invalitd certificate".
When I stopped imunify360-webshield service, then error 521 occured.
Furthermore, regarding Ticket support and Webshield not being configured, I was instructed to manually add domains and their certificates and keys for ssl-cache.
This process is exhausting, either.
It would be really nice to have a feature like an option…

inodes limit assigned to reseller sub accounts
Currently Cloudlinux is not applying default Inodes limit to the accounts created by Reseller in Cpanel. The limits assign to reseller package should be inherited by all accounts created by reseller account manager. this will limit excessive usage of INODES.

See usage stats in cPanel
I am suggesting a feature where the clients are able to the Current Usage and so on for their site when going to their cPanel.
Just like we are doing from the WHM.

Limit reseller sub accounts instead of whole cumulative limits in reseller limits
Hello,
Reseller limits puts a restriction on cumulative resources of all sub accounts. There should be a feature which allows host to set limits for each sub accounts of a reseller instead of all cumulative.
Example: Reseller X is set to have 2GB RAM, 2 Core CPU.
All his sub accounts should have the same limit instead if default limits.

mysql governor user_max_connections limit per user
Currently, you can only set usermaxconnections in governor globally.
It would be great if we could set this limit also at the user level, as with the CPU limit.
For example:
<user mode="restrict" name="blablabla">
<limit user_max_connections="150"/>

re-support the xen hypervisor
I looked through the documentation and CL6 had direct support for Xen. XCP-NG is a fork tat is binary compatible and is built directly from the xen hypervisor. You can either grab xcp-ng tools and include their guest tools into cl7 and 8..:)

Add short codes to PHP X-RAY
Currently when a slow loading time is detected PHP X-RAY will report slow system functions "pregreplacecallback" at file /wp-includes/shortcodes.php:228
It would be nice to know which shortcode was called so customers can easily determine what is causing the slow load time.

Make it possible to disable PHP versions for specific users
It would be nice for example to not offer very old versions to new customers, because this mostly gives a bad user-experience. Newer versions are faster and more secure.
It can also be used to slowly phase out an older version, by disabling it for every customer not using it.3 votes -
Better CPU usage
I copied the following text from a competitor site:
"Unused dedicated resources are automatically re-allocated to eliminate waste. Also, when limit-exceeding users are “jailed,” they are not automatically throttled. They share jail core resources, so if the jail has few members, their CPU access may increase. This protects the masses while helping, when possible, those with even higher demands. In addition, users and programs may use swap space beyond their physical RAM memory usage limits."2 votes -

Friendly Error for CageFS Without alt-php
Today if one installs CageFS without alt-php, the PHP selector still appears in end users' cPanel interfaces, and gives the error:
Config file (Cannot read /etc/cl.selector/selector.conf: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/cl.selector/selector.conf'. Native used) not found
It would be great if it was turned off by default from the cPanel interface when alt-php modules aren't installed, and even if the admin chooses to add it, it should give a friendly error, like "No alternative PHP versions are installed on this server", in place of the existing error.

performance tuning tool
please make a performance tuning tool for cloudlinux: to optimize settings of the cl server based on apache/ls and database server load, internal memory and cpu power. it's now a lot of try and error and that's not the right method. someting as mysqltuner.pl but better and integrated in the cloudlinux panel inside Directadmin. A button with 'optimize all settings' would be nice. Just click and adjust everything automatically...

user want to see processor allocated
Users want to verify the number of processor allocated if true/correct from SSH, or their cpanel account
we would need something else than graph 100% who shows whatever is allocated : 150%, 200%, meaning 1.5 core or 2 cores

CloudLinux on AWS Deployment Guide
A good documentation is always preferably to opening a ticket.
Since Cloudlinux can't be installed directly on Amazon Linux and an official Cloudlinux + cPanel AMI must be used, it is important to have a documentation on that no matter how sparse it might be.Yes, it is as simple as finding the image and installing it but a link on your website will be great too especially it if deals with potentials pitfalls and why Cloudlinux can't be installed on Amazon Linux.
Thank you!

Ability to hide some PHP extensions in cPanel UI
I would like to be able to hide some extensions from cPanel UI. We do not want to allow all extensions, and some of them are really not needed an may be confusing for clients.
For example mssql is definitely not needed and can be misleading for clients. Also APC have no effect if PHP is run as SuPHP, and it can be confusing for clients. We would also remove pgsql since we do not support it, and again can be misleading. There are probably more that we do not want to offer.
In addition to this it would also…

Consistency of MEM reporting over lvetop, cpanel graphs, and cpanel reporting.
Currently if a user has a process running which is causing data to be kept in system buffers or caches, cloudlinux works as follows...
lvetop shows none of the memory being used.
cPanel graph shows all of the memory used.
cPanel text shows all of the memory used. When the process finishes...
lvetop shows none of the memory being used.
cPanel graph continues to show all of the memory used.
cPanel text shows none of the memory being used.Gradually as the system buffers or caches clear (can be many hours for large memory)...
cPanel graph slowly returns to 0…
