  1. Rename alt-php to something end users will understand

    is it possible for you to update ALT-PHP in the Plesk PHP handler and php selector so the name is more informative?

    Reason: alt-php5.6 means nothing to end users users and because it looks complicated they avoid it like the plague.

    Suggestion: rename alt-php to Hardened-php in the plesk php handler manager and PHP Selector.
    its cosmetic.. but would make a LOT more sense to end users.

  2. Enable fanotify on CL6 and CL6 hybrid Kernel

    Can fanotify be enabled at a kernel leve on CL6 and CL6 Hybrid please? so we can make use of things like Clamd on demand scanning?

  3. NodeJS Virtual Environment

    When entering the NodeJS Virtual Environment, have it automatically change directory to the apps document root.

    Also when entering the virtual environment, if you are logged in as an elevated user, have it perform the commands as the the user the app belongs to automatically. I realize this might not be possible, but it would be nice because using NodeJS means you must enable shell for that user and with cPanel, that means you need to enable shell for many or all of the accounts on the server.

  4. Make Selective countries for increased DOS concurrent settings:

    Asusers we have so many concurrent connections (10 to 20) as users that 100% of the foreign attackers are allowed to attack without block: the alternative is all my users get blocked (captcha) as "abusers". Email uses multiple concurrent connections, multiply this by multiple users at the same ip address and the world's hackers are free to hack away.

  5. Disable adding alt-php of versions to cPanel MultiPHP Manager

    Available or not available alt-php version in MultiPHP Manager is defined in /opt/alt/alt-php-config/alt-php.cfg.
    By default value "yes" and all alt-php versions are available in cPanel MultiPHP Manager.
    We want to set this default value by ourselves.

    Why?
    If we set "no" in config file for already installed versions and then cluodlinux add to alt-php new php version, for this version in config file value by default will be "yes" and its will be available in MultiPHP Manager.
    If we can set value by default, this will not happen.

  6. Fix cagefs homedir symlink detection on cPanel servers

    When you rearrange an account in cPanel to a different partition, cPanel creates a symlink from /home/USERNAME to /homeX/USERNAME.

    Cagefs currently ignores the symlink if X is not a number and breaks existing accounts that were created using a letter.

    We would like cagefs to me made compatible with cPanel's symlinks.

  7. Add AWS kernal support for KernalCare

    AWS kernels are currently not supported. As Amazon Lightsail has a Plesk template; it's worthwhile adding support for AWS kernels.

  8. Make additional packages from texlive available

    Please make texlive-latex-extra and texlive-context available in Cloudlinux 7.6 as I need it to process documents automatically.

  9. Whitelist or Captcha or Block Access to Certain URLs

    It would be awesome if we could create lists of URLs and specify access rules for them.

    A few scenarios:

    1. If the user accesses "wp-admin" and is not 192.168.1.1, then block.

    2. If the user accesses "wp-admin" and is not 192.168.1.1, then captcha.

    3. If the user accesses "wp-admin" then captcha.

  10. Extend the prefix delay to 72 or 96 h

    How about making the list of possible prefixes extend to 72 or 96h.
    Therefore if a patch is applied on a Friday in test, we may not be able to see the results, good or bad, until Monday. If AUTO update is set to 48h, a bad patch could possibley be applied to PROD before we notice anything on Monday.

  11. Percona XtraDB Cluster (or MySQL WSREP) support for DB Governor

    Currently there is no version of DB Governor which can be used with Galera Cluster, neither on vanilla MySQL or Percona. This limits scaleability for MySQL on CloudLinux to a single node if you want to use DB Governor.

  12. Add Snuffleupagus extension to PHP Selector

    Snuffleupagus (https://snuffleupagus.readthedocs.io) is a PHP7+ module designed to drastically raise the cost of attacks against websites. This is achieved by killing entire bug classes and providing a powerful virtual-patching system, allowing the administrator to fix specific vulnerabilities without having to touch the PHP code.

    This will help to make the PHP more secure since there's no suhosin for PHP7.2 and superior versions.

  14. Command to fullbackup the operating system

    would be to create a weekly or monthly image of the total operating system, so we can safely store the full backup if the operating system is hacked or compromised by malicious script can be restored to a safe point.

    It's a good way to hide cpu statistics from users because sometimes CPU burst too much and many clients think that hosting is too slow but actually it process something at backend.

  20. Python PIP Select

    It would be interesting regardless of the chosen Python version, to be able to choose between the PIP versions that can be used at Python startup.

    Because it happens that it always starts in version 9, but we are already with pip in version 20.
