    We're often asked for "proof" too and it's currently somewhat difficult to show customers what caused the resource usage.

    it would be very useful to have both live (or very recent) and historical data

    Scenario:
    - Customer busts his resources limits
    - Hosting company sends an email notification to the client
    - Cutomer check and responds to the email 4 hours later and everything seems fine
    - If per-process stats & historical data would be available, the customer would then be able to check and see what was going on

    +1 this is something that has created quite a few support requests in the past.

    We also choose not to install some PHP modules because we don't want them to be available for ALL clients to activate - even though we would allow _some_ clients to in some special cases.
