Possibility to delegate/open ports per user
The work on it started some time ago, and currently we are testing it for CL7 & CL6 kernels

Any news ? Is it just documentation that is lacking ?

Kernel changes are done. Working on userland/documentation now. It is not high priority -- so probably another 3 months or so :(

Hello,
Any news on this ?
Can users already have their own private network ?
We're looking at allowing users to have nodejs running on their shared hosting accounts but we want each user to have their own private local IP so they can use any ports they want for their application. -

Please vote here for virtual networking - http://cloudlinux.uservoice.com/forums/269295-general/suggestions/7196059-monitoring-network-activity

Virtual networks would be great, we're using sockets now for the services we need to run as the user which isn't always the easiest (think memcached, where all apps look for it at the default port etc)

Any reason not to just do this via IPTables?

If this were to happen it would need to work in parallel with CSF + LFD

I agree, we can't wait for the virtual networking feature :)
