  2. inodes limit assigned to reseller sub accounts

Currently Cloudlinux is not applying default Inodes limit to the accounts created by Reseller in Cpanel. The limits assign to reseller package should be inherited by all accounts created by reseller account manager. this will limit excessive usage of INODES.

  3. Make iops limit work the same on soft raid and non-raid devices

It appears that if you try to write 512 blocks with iops limit = 1024 to soft raid you'll get x/2 performance than on a simple volume because on raid1 you write 2x blocks.
Since from the client's perspective, soft raid volume is a single device and it would be logical to make iops limit work the same on soft raid and non-raid devices

  4. A Prometheus exporter for DB Governor dbtop

We need to integrate dbtop data into a nice centralized grafana chart that can be monitored more efficiently and users MySQL consumption can be compared to each other. so it would be a good idea to develop a Prometheus exporter for this reason.

  5. Capture the thread of the process and show it on lve-read-snapshot

Currently the thread of the process is also counted in lve's nproc, but the thread is not captured, so it's not shown on lve-read-snapshot and cpanel's resource usage plugin https://docs.cloudlinux.com/lve_manager/#resource-usage-client-plugin.

We hope you can consider this as in some cases like nodejs process may spawn some threads and the user's can't check it on lve-read-snapshot

  6. Imunify360 - background scanning schedule missing input field for custom path only, instead of scheduled scanning of each user

Recently I have setup my background scanning schedule for a monthly period at specific date and time.

    Source:

It would be really nice to make a field here on a scheduled background scan which path we would like to be scanned.

  7. Imunify360 Firewall - Close all ports, except specified - missing IPv4 and IPv6 field for each port

Recently came a cross the option in Imunify360 Firewall "Close all ports, except specified".

But, I see we cannot define per port to allow our local IPv4 & IPv6.

For example, MySQL 3306 needs only local IP and not external access.
    Why openning it for all?

Moreover, like Redis 6379 or Memcached 11211, why open it to external ...

Would be really nice if we could add our local IP, IPv4 and IPv6 per port when "close all ports, except specified".

There is also a difference between stateful vs. stateless firewall too.

  8. Option to add domain with SSL certificate and key through Imunify360 interface for standalone installation/non-panel/ISPConfig

Recently come across an issue where I installed Imunify360 on a server with ISPConfig - followed instructions for non-panel/standalone installation.

Therefore, after successfull installation, all domains which worked well using Cloudflare CA Origin Certificate, Authenticated Origin Pulls and were on Full (Strict) SSL option, went "offline" or "error 526 invalitd certificate".

When I stopped imunify360-webshield service, then error 521 occured.

Furthermore, regarding Ticket support and Webshield not being configured, I was instructed to manually add domains and their certificates and keys for ssl-cache.

    This process is exhausting, either.

It would be really nice to have a feature like an option…

  9. Imunify360 feature request - block requests by ASN (IP to ASN lookup?)

I was recently thinking about a security feature, like the current one where we can block IP addresses and ranges, and even countries from accessing our server IP and domains.

But, was wondering, can we block providers by their's AS number (ASN) maybe?

This could be good, for example, if we have "good traffic" from USA, but want to block all the IP addresses, or better to say, all the requests comming from the IP address(es) that belong to an specific AS number like DigitalOcean?

Meaning, we allow all USA traffic, but block all from DigitalOcean by entering their ASN…

  10. Recurring import of dynamic IPs for whitelisting of partner services

UptimeRobot has a special subdomain (I cannot remember the name of it right now) that always is updated with the current IPs.

It would be great if this special subdomain can be added and Imunify360 would each day do a re-import of the current IPs and remove old ones that are not used anymore.

This would help us in the future to avoid false warnings about sites that are actually not down but it more that UptimeRobot have done changes in their IT structure.

This will be great because we do manually have to add IPs and remove IPs in…

  14. Add some features to "Centralized Monitoring" (CloudLinux OS+)

    Hi,

I'm testing your CloudLinux OS+ tools and I think that you can add some features for do better the hosting provider investment from CloudLinux to CloudLixux OS+.

1- The Centralized Monitoring are doing many tasks like Hetrixtools.com or other monitoring softwares, however not warn the sysadmins when a server are down and we need install anyway a additional softwares (for example Hetrixtools.com).

Please, this is very easy for you, if you can add email/SMS notification when some server are down, we will can uninstall other tools.

2- Also "Centralized Monitoring" not are checking the services (like LiteSpeed, MySQL, etc.)…

  17. Support Xen PVH in CloudlinuxOS 8/AlmaLinux

Currently I work with Xen PVH in Cloudlinux and CentOS 7 with an optimal performance (https://en.bmstu.wiki/File:XenModes.png).

And now I wolud Iike upgrade to CloudlinuxOS 8 but seems Red Hat Enterprise Linux release 8.x and its clones (like CentOS Linux) can't run as Xen PV DomU anymore. Xen PV guest support has been disabled for all 8.x releases :(

So I suggest included Xen PV guest support again at least in AlmaLinux (because CentOS 8 will be discontinued shortly)

  18. use iptables and clean iptable rules in IM360

Due to a recent issue withim360 we noticed IM360 firewall is not using iptables, instead is injecting rules into memory without saving them, so if the IM360 service fail and iptables doesn't fail to start, you'll be locked out until imunify360 does. So please re think to use iptables in your firewall. We was using CSF before....we removed CSF and installed IM360, someone could think this action will clean all the blocking rules in the process...well no, looks like after we have uninstalled CSF and installed IM360 and probably restarted Im360 a lot of times....iptable old rules never were cleaned...we…

  19. LVE Dashboard Endusers Reaching Limits | please separate Domains(Panel) user vs System Users

Hello, My suggestion is to seperate Domain ( panel Endusers) from system Endusers.

example: when you go to your LVE Dashboard you see Endusers Reaching Limits 4/21

this number on the left is a symbol that 4 endusers are reaching limits and the 21 is total domain(panel) users and system users.
this was very confusing at first, cause I had only 10 domains and the day prior was showing 0/15 so I thought why 15?

I only have 10 domains and 5 subdomains so I thought ok it makes sense 15

Then the next day I see 2/21 and think…
