  2. Allow to set IOPS limits via cPanel and DirectAdmin plugin.

Make it possible to modify IOPS (yes, IOPS, not IO) limits for packages using plugin for cPanel and DirectAdmin.

  3. Allow separation limit of inodes for different directories

On some platforms, the letters can be stored in the home directory of the client in his cageFS (for example in ~/mail/ ). These letters can be stored in large volumes on the client account, but they do not interfere with anti-virus scan or backup system.
If you set a limit on the number of inodes to limit the file size of the site (eg cache files), it will also lead to the inability to get the mail.

To solve the problem, you can make a separate calculation of quotas for inodes for different directories within the home directory of…

  4. Switch checkbox and modulename in DirectAdmin PHP selector

Right now there is a list like this:
modnamea <lost of whitespace> checkboxa modnameb <lost of whitespace> checkboxb
would be a lot better if it was:
checkboxa modnamea <lost of whitespace> checkboxb modnameb

  5. Add Ruby-Selector and Python-Selector for Plesk 12 Web panel

it would be useful to integrate ruby-selector and python-selector in Plesk. PHP-Selector in Plesk is amazing.

  7. Provide SELinux Compatibility

I'm not sure if SELINUX is very good, but I've always wondered why it needs to be disabled with cPanel when it is enabled by default with most Linux OSs. Would be nice if some sort of GUI could be added for manage the OS with SELinux in a way that is compatible with CloudLinux features, and cPanel or other control panels.

  8. new feature for resellers process package in directadmin

We have a big problem with our reseller package config in directadmin. in lve manager we can choose process of admin package but there is no option to choose each reseller process of packages. In reseller panel level we have no lve manager too...
how can we have a config like admin package in reseller level?
it is important for us to have special config in each reseller packge too... not only admin package...

    Thanks.

  9. Friendly Error for CageFS Without alt-php

Today if one installs CageFS without alt-php, the PHP selector still appears in end users' cPanel interfaces, and gives the error:

Config file (Cannot read /etc/cl.selector/selector.conf: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/etc/cl.selector/selector.conf'. Native used) not found

It would be great if it was turned off by default from the cPanel interface when alt-php modules aren't installed, and even if the admin chooses to add it, it should give a friendly error, like "No alternative PHP versions are installed on this server", in place of the existing error.

  10. Ability to remove/deny access to specific binaries on a per-account basis

It would be quite excellent if CageFS were able to limit/deny access to specific binaries on a per-account basis.

For example, if a specific cPanel/Plesk account had an exploited website and was using phpmail to send large amounts of spam, the ability to deny access to the sendmail binary would provide a quick method to stop the mail from being generated, while also leaving the account in a working order, and provide a means to investigate the exploit without destroying evidence.

Ideally, such a feature would be surfaced in the GUI so administrators could quickly disable the function.

  12. NodeJS Support

NodeJS and Grunt seem to be becoming a widely used way of compiling Bootstrap 3 web code. It would be great if CloudLinux had rpms for NodeJS. http://getbootstrap.com/getting-started/

  13. Burst Limits - LVE Manager

    Hi,

I would like to make a suggestion for a possible future feature which you may like to include for CloudLinux.

As websites become more and more popular, sometimes accounts require more resources than allocated, I think it would be a good idea to add burst limits to CloudLinux LVE Manager, in which hosting providers can choose whether or not to enable these burst limits, and what to enable them on.

For example, hosts could choose to set the normal SPEED Limit to 30%, but then allow the account to burst up to a maximum of 50% for a set…

  14. Node.JS, or socketing.

Since Node.Js and socketing with PHP is pretty limited, needs ports etc. It might be a idea, to make it bound to a subdomain or domain. So that it'll use mydomain.com:10000 and customer B can also use mydomain2.com:10000

Is this possible? would be awesome!

  15. mod_lsapi php.ini per user

Add support of php.ini file per user like suPHP handler. Some users request more custom php.ini directives and better control over it.

  16. Improve MySQL Governor's MySQL version installation/verification

Currently there doesn't seem to be an easy way to detect if the MySQL version currently installed is the one provided by MySQL Governor and if it's the one that has been chosen when using "db-select-mysql --mysql-version=mariadb55".

Would it be possible to add an option to either mysqlgovernor.py or db-select-mysql that would allow a server admin to check what's the current state of MySQL installation on the server in the context of MySQL Governor?

For instance, cPanel provides something similar for various services it manages:

    /scripts/setupmailserver --current

    Current mailserver type: dovecot
    Current storage format: maildir

    /scripts/setupftpserver --current

    Current FTP server…

  17. PHP version per directory with mod_fcgid

I know that this is planned for mod_lsapi but it is still in beta and will stay there for now.

Any other option will be great.

  18. PHP Selector permited modules

It would be useful to integrate in the LVE Manager the possibility to select which PHP modules are available for the client to select.
Basically there should be check boxes for "default" "available" "unavailable".

At the moment we change the PHP version on user request because we do not want the client to activate some modules.

  19. Ability to set (throttle) data transfer (bandwidth) speed per user/package.

    Hello,

The idea here is to be able to allow User 1 (or Package 1) to have 100mb/second data transfer speed, and User 2 (or Package 2) to have 10mb/second data transfer speed.

So this way, we can use cloudlinux to limit individual users or packages based on data transfer speed.

(Sort of like how we can limit them based on disk IO, but instead... limit them based on data transfer/bandwidth IO.)

    Thanks.

  20. Add "lvestats" to WHM Service Manager

    Hello,

For some reason, the lvestats sometimes stops running on our CloudLinux servers. It doesn't happen too often, but it does happen.

So it would be nice if you could add "lvestats" to the WHM Service Manager system, so that it can be monitored and automatically restarted if needed.

    1. Login to WHM.
    2. Click into the "Service Configuration-->Service Manager" page.
    3. Now at the bottom you should see a section for "Additional services".
    4. Please add "lvestats" to this section, so that it can be monitored and auto-restarted.

If you aren't sure how to do this, please let me know and I can…
