  1. cPanel 11.50 CloudLinux 7 AMI

    Hi,

    It would be great to see a cPanel 11.50 (or newer) AMI in the AWS marketplace now that CloudLinux 7 is supported by cPanel.

    Thanks

  2. Support OptimiumCache over XFS filesystem

    Centos 7 has XFS as default filesystem and OptimiumCache is only being supported for EXT4. Will be great you start supporting it for XFS which probably will be default in any new linux os versions. Thanx!

  3. Show size of cached files in optimum cache by each cpanel user

    It would be easyer to find users who need better hosting than shared one (vps, cloud, dedicated)

  4. Add time series DB support for lvestats

    The lvestats could have support for modern time based db storage backend. Such DB is great foundation for analytic tools. Examples:

    InfluxDB + Grafana http://influxdb.com/
    Elasticsearch + Kibana https://www.elastic.co/products/kibana

    Properly structured time series data would work faster than MySQL or PgSQL backends. Especially when you have hundreds of users per server and millions of rows in resource usage tables. With time based db there is also less headache for maintaining continuously growing 'history' and 'history_gov' tables.

  6. Support php.conf per PHP version

    We’re using /etc/cl.selector/php.conf to add our own php.ini directives to selector. However, some of them are deprecated in some versions - or there are completely new ones in higher versions or with other defaults.

    It would be great if you could create for instance php56.conf php70.conf etc which would be used instead of php.conf if it exists.

  7. LVE SPEED - add bursting flexibility when spare CPU cycles available

    Add a way to configure LVE such that it will let users burst to use all (or a predetermined higher amount) of the CPU if it’s not being used by any other users, but if other users are needing it then apply the limit set by SPEED

  8. performance tuning tool

    please make a performance tuning tool for cloudlinux: to optimize settings of the cl server based on apache/ls and database server load, internal memory and cpu power. it's now a lot of try and error and that's not the right method. someting as mysqltuner.pl but better and integrated in the cloudlinux panel inside Directadmin. A button with 'optimize all settings' would be nice. Just click and adjust everything automatically...

  10. Add tmux to the default yum repos

    tmux is a terminal multiplexer a la screen, however contains quite a few features that the screen package does not support natively (such as vertical splits).

    tmux is additionally in the default package lists for apt, so there is precedent for including it (why yum doesn't by default is a constant pain point for me).

    More information about tmux is at http://tmux.sourceforge.net/

  11. add support for AFS/OpenAFS. I don't believe it to be impossible to implement and would prove useful for academic and research centers.

    add support for AFS/OpenAFS. I don't believe it to be impossible to implement and would prove useful for academic and research centers.

    OpenAFS requires users/servers to have a kerberos ticket/afs token to access directories/files. This creates issues such as requiring the web server to have shared access to all users web directories. Being able to restrict resource usage per user, as well as directory access per user would be a huge help.

  12. Copy PHPSelector settings within a cPanel account transfer

    Currently when you transfer accounts between cPanel servers, the PHP selector settings do not automatically copy when a cPanel account is transferred to a different server. It would be helpful if a copy of the settings could be located within the user home directory so that it automatically copies with the account.

    Perhaps if PHP selector is installed, have it scan account transfers for the config file in the users home directory and if it exists apply the settings on the new server. Maybe as a post-hook on the transfer tool.

    Would help make account transfers as seamless as possible.

  13. Reseller Limit for Directadmin

    Currently there is no lve-manager for resellers in directadmin and without this feature there is no way to set limitations for different packages and we should set limitation on every user manually.
    This would make our job a lot easier if we have lve-manager at reseller level too .

  14. Plesk Service Plan Add-on's being treated as Service plans and they should not be

    In Plesk, Service Plans Add-on's are being treated as Service plans by the LVE Manager.

    This is causing issues with Add-ons that are using LVE defaults are overriding package values for service plans.

    Example:
    Default CPU set to 250%
    Hosting plan bronze is set to 25%
    Add-on for Plesk called (add 1 email account) is overriding the bronze LVE package stetting and bumping the bronze customers back up to 250% CPU

    going the other way does not fix the problem
    Example:
    Default CPU set to 25%
    Hosting plan gold is set to 250%
    Add-on for Plesk called (add 1 email…

  16. directadmin: PHP selector checkboxes should be in left side, and they should be associated with their labels so that user can click labels.

    Here is my patch (for /usr/local/directadmin/plugins/phpselector/user/index.html)

    Edit the file and paste this code in relevant place. (I can write full patch in diff format if needed)

    <td>
    <input name="cbx_<?=$Extensions[$key]['name']?>" id="cbx_<?=$Extensions[$key]['name']?>" title="<?=GetDescription($Extensions[$key]['name'])?>" type="checkbox" <?=($Extensions[$key]['status'] == '+') ? 'checked="checked"' : ''?> />

    <label for="cbx_<?=$Extensions[$key]['name']?>" title="<?=GetDescription($Extensions[$key]['name'])?>">
    <?=$Extensions[$key]['name']?>
    </label>

  18. lsphp - too small information in the sulsphp_log

    tail -3 /usr/local/apache/logs/sulsphp_log

    [2015-03-30 13:01:32]: uid: (541/user1) gid: (540/user1) cmd: /usr/local/bin/lsphp
    [2015-03-30 13:01:33]: uid: (530/user2) gid: (529/user2) cmd: /usr/local/bin/lsphp
    [2015-03-30 13:01:33]: uid: (537/user3) gid: (536/user3) cmd: /usr/local/bin/lsphp

    очень малоинформативный вывод.

    Хотелось бы чтобы в логе был путь к запускаемому скрипту, наподобие этого

    tail -3 /usr/local/apache/logs/suphp_log

    [Sat Feb 21 22:52:27 2015] [info] Executing "/home/user1/publichtml/user1.domain/index.php" as UID 663, GID 662
    [Sat Feb 21 22:52:27 2015] [info] Executing "/home/user2/public
    html/user2.domain/index.php" as UID 814, GID 813
    [Sat Feb 21 22:52:27 2015] [info] Executing "/home/user3/public_html/user3.domain/index.php" as UID 631, GID 630

    Требуется, чтобы по логам можно было вычислять дырки в сайтах.

  19. Ability to enable/disable Litespeed (lsapi) from PHP Selector

    Assuming that litespeed is installed, and this is permitted by admin / ACL / configuration options:

    It would be nice if the customer himself could enable / disable litespeed and switch from suPHP to litespeed from inside PHP Selector.

    A work load would be reduced (tickets informing to switch to litespeed for testing, or switch it back etc) and it should be better as a service.

  20. Monitoring Network Activity

    As you know there is many cases that hosting accounts can generate network traffic which is not coming from web server,
    For example a Perl or PHP script which download files from other servers and so on.
    Even there's many abusive cases which hacked hosting account begin used for DDoS, therefore I believe monitoring or having stat from hosting accounts network activity like total traffic generated by every user ( except incoming web traffic ) every day would help hosting companies to trouble shoot these cases much easier.
    Currently we found such cases by iptables features but I guess you…
